Hot process soap is fun to make, and the reward for spending time with a hot boiler is tremendous. The soaping process gives the soap a textured rustic finish that is very pleasant to touch.
Have your soap ready the same day or within a week, instead of spending more than six weeks waiting for your soap to cure.
Some people call hot process soap crockpot soap because they use a crockpot instead of a double boiler.
